Worrying will do that to you. I don’t get it. I wonder if she was loaded with worms.
I've even thought of heartworm. Although she hasn't said the dog is coughing. You would think after being on meds for worms as long as she has been that she would be OK. Granny is she still hiding under the bed?

Heartworm won't show up until the dog is a year old... according to the vet.

Hey all, Robert and I are so tired for a dog that isnt doing anything except sleeping. We gave her half of a pill thats supposed to keep her from throwing up as she has done that 2xs today. Robert has been sringe feeding her bone broth and she is drinking a little water on her own.
We can feel her ribs and back bone now.
Worry is draining.
When she throws up, is there anything (solids) in it? Is it yellow?

Just read though the most recent posts. I didn't realize you got another pup. I went through something similar in the fall. Pup had diarrhea (it was bloody, I have pics), wouldn't eat, went real weak on me. Turns out she was infested with hook and roundworms. It almost killed her it was so bad. I didn't take her to the vet, I knew it wasn't parvo from the smell. She got dewormer 2x a day at a higher dose and I syringed water into her until she was strong enough on her own.

Parvos usually shows in 5-7 days of exposure. So if you've had her longer than that and not been exposed from somewhere else (park, vet, or somewhere else unvaccinated dogs roam) then it's definitely something else.
Dogs can get coccidiosis too, lost a yorkie pup to that once. I just struck suddenly, and she died the next morning. I was so sad. Her name was Dixie.

6 months. That's why you don't have to test before that to get HW prevention. After the 6month mark you have to get a negative test to get the prescription.

I'm sorry you lost a pup. Coccidia is nasty to deal with.
I know Ophelia had hooks and roundworms cause there were 15-20 in each stool she had. I've never seen a dog so infested with them.
You wait until they're 10 weeks old.
😩😩😩 that's forever. I can sex my silkie chicks by the 6 week mark.
