Granny's gone and done it again

and for the good news. After 2xs of being fed my bone broth the pup has turned the corner. At least she seems to. She ate about a teaspoon of canned cat food and stole Toms sandwich. Half of it anyway!! Her tail is wagging for the first time in 5 days. Im so happy. :celebrate
Oh huzzah!!! Keep up with the bland food though for a while - chicken and rice, let her tummy heal. beware sandwich meats for a while - also be very careful with your peanut butter. Some stuff has xylitol which is not good for puppers.

Not saying it’s parvo honestly yall. I don’t have my armchair veterinary doctorate…
If she was sick before the vets….how many days has it been now?
5 days not eating but she was sick before then. I got her at the chicken swap

That's wonderful news.
Nice bland chicken and rice is the best thing for now.

Granny, I'm going to say this with love. Have Robert check the budget to see if some sort of pet insurance could be in the budget. You got her from a swap - gosh knows her background, this may be it for big bads for a while, but it may not.
who do you have?

Robert thought she was so active he put bandits muzzle back on. He went to take a nap and I took it back off. I will be screwed if he bites her.

Don't (yet) but am considering it. Need to price check and compare.

But...I'm also in the position where if something happened to Goose and he needed IV/emergency medical care...I could afford it. Things would suck for a bit, but the vet would get paid.

There's a whole bunch out there. Trupanion, aspca offers something, figo, lemonade, heck even allstate has pet insurance! what?!?!
