Last night i went to check the chickens in Turkey Town, and there was a huge furry possum near the door to the old Turkey Coop! Went and got hubby, he brought the rifle and shot the thing in the head, 3 or 4 times! We figured it would die any minute, so went in the house. I went out later to dispose of the body, and it wasn't there! I couldn't believe it! So i started looking for it. Never did find it. But i did find another possum in the tree not far from the Turkey Coop! Not the same one, as this was smaller and had a stub of a tail. Went back for hubby again. That one stayed dead. The only conclusion i can come to on the first possum, is that brains are not essential for possum survival. He definitely hit that possum, there was blood everywhere.

Coffee cups? Get a real measuring cup.

I have a measuring cup, just dont want to use it for dog food. I will have to get another but I know my coffee cup holds about a cup or a little more.

Ok as long as you have measured the coffee cup and know it is a cup use it. Start with heaping cups. Slowly increase her food. That puppy chow isn’t very nutritious as you can tell by the amount of poop she has. That’s all the fillers in it.

Isn’t there a way to tell which chicken is pecking the eggs. I can’t remember how.
