I so wish I could have a broody hen coop just for broodies with a run for each broody nest to give them a place to see the world from a safe place before mixing with other hens and their chicks.

Celebrated a couple of birthdays over the past few days. I went through with the ear piercings…my sister and mom joined in as well. I got two more lobe piercings and a conch on both sides; my mom got an extra lobe piercing on both sides and then a helix on her right ear; my sister got a helix on both sides. It didn’t hurt much at all. When I left the tattoo parlor I told my mom “Should I get a flat? I think I’ll get a flat next…or maybe a rook” But let’s see how the healing process goes first. So far nothing seems to hurt exceptionally. I can barely even feel them most of the time. Oh and I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet. I made sure to check beforehand, and yes, I can still wear earphones…thank goodness.

I was telling Cherry about tests and such that make you take those piercings out. How dermals are rejected half the time and leave a scar.
