Im freezing. I didnt get dressed today. Just my night gown and its thin.
Checked my sugar it was 277 I have a headache to go with it

Wow your sugar is very high is is not? I thought we need to keep it down around 100?

I wish my wife would get home soon. I can't stay awake or go to sleep. I really need to be out checking on chickens but don't do that when alone due to so many falls. I carry a walkie talkie so if I do fall I can get help.

I know some of you guys know through Facebook, it’s just been so hard for me to make this post.

We had an accident on the trail on Saturday. We rolled…and then rolled about 100 ft down Cadillac hill on the rubicon. Jesse and I were able to walk away with bruises. I don’t know how. If Jesse hadn’t built that truck as well as he did…it would be a different story. Goose didn’t make it. It was quick for him at least, I don’t think I could live with myself if it wasn’t.

My heart and soul…I just feel so broken right now. I didn’t want to do this trip to begin with, too broke, work was too busy, I was worried about how goose would do in the truck…(he was actually riding like a champ until this happened) but I didn’t feel like I had any friends I could trust with him.

I don’t know how much I’m going to be able to handle peopleing for a while…so if I go silent just know I love y’all. And give your fur babies some extra belly rubs from me.

80-120 is a good fasting. I just finished dinner but ya, way too high for me. I have sugar drops not highs.

I should be watching my sugar better than I am. My A1C is OK but barely OK. Paternal side of family had a lot of Type 2 Diabetics. All of my grandmother's siblings but she wasn't. That is still to close for comfort. We used to could get no sugar added ice cream. Hope we can find it again soon. Wife was to look for some while out today.

I'm a little worried now. Wife should have been home an hour ago. She hasn't called and she has my phone with her too. I do know she has made another orthopedic appoint for me for next Friday. This time for a tennis elbow and bad left knee. Bit by bit they are working me over.
