Mine similar from Costco also but the other brand. Uses my smart phone to tweak them.

The type with the molds cost a lot less and are a one piece type that fit in the ear.

My hearing aids are Rextons. I believe they cost $1600 in 2016. They have been replaced at no cost once. I was hesitant to spend even that after spending for my first $5900 and that was a rip off. I will go back to Costco next time for the rechargeable type so I don't have to always have batteries with me. Batteries are such a pain to have when you really need them some times. I have to say that they are tough. My wife found one in a shirt pocket as she was about to put the shirt in the dryer. It still works.

My DH got his free but it needs batteries all the time. He doesn’t like his. Rarely wears them. I have mine in all day and half the night.

I didn’t sleep either got up and took an Advil pm at 3 am. So now I am groggy

Jenny needed out at 3 am, or maybe it was 4 am, not sure. But then I got to sleep in till 6:30, ha!

Finely some good news!! Hearing aids approved for BOTH ears... They wont pay for the molds which is $25. so we have to wait til the 5th to go get them made.

Great news! Is this Medicaid? I've heard deafness can contribute to dementia. I better sign up for aids pretty soon myself...

I will likely sell it unless hubby objects, which is unlikely. He once told me i could make all the stuff i want, but don't keep bringing it home. He can be such a grinch.
