I have a sink full of dirty pots. Plan to wash them tomorrow morning.
Just came in from the studio. Feels like 41° outside. The studio feels warm enough, but I am going to see if I can dig up some sweaters and sweat pants. I walked from the studio to the house and got cold tonight. Lit up a fire and drinking cocoa.
I was expecting something yesterday from UPS. Went out to check and this pink box was on my front porch. Asked .. sent a text to Bronwyn at work. I honestly thought she had ordered them. She texts back asking who gave me these. So, I call the store. There was a name on it. I hadn't noticed because of how small an area it was. They said door dash made a mistake, they would make another order, and I could keep these.I'd hate so see my A1C if I got into a day old pastry shop....
I had pea soup yesterday. One of those in a cup. Microwaved it. I liked it.Nancy and I made split pea soup with ham today. We shared the leftovers but I didnt really like it. I guess beggars cant be choosers. Tom and Robert had a PB&J. Kevin bought us a can of coffee. I will still be out of creamer but it is what it is. Kevin is looking for food bank for us. Life shouldnt be this hard .

Aw, Granny. Life is hard sometimes. Maybe it's to keep us humble. I remember a time in my life when I had to use food stamps and food pantries. Shoot, just getting food stamps was an exercise in humility. They didn't want to give me any because I had earned a whole $25 the previous month, training a dog. That didn't end well. That's when I ended up on the psych ward in the hospital and got my dx of bipolar so I thank God for that. But it was humbling to have other people fill up a box with food and say this is what you get to eat this month. Sometimes it was stuff I couldn't use, so I shared it with other people who were also in need. You learn to be grateful.Nancy and I made split pea soup with ham today.
