Granny's gone and done it again

My doc told me something to do today when I have a chest congestion problem and that is to grab the inhaler I have and get some of that in me. That should help with the coughing.
Have you tried it? If its steroids that might make you hot

It's a proair inhaler and I think it has the same thing in it as Albuterol which is not a steroid. Over the years I think I have had more than my share of steroids. Once I had a cough that lasted for 6 years and I finally went to a pulmonary doc and he put me on a real stout dose of prednisone and after a couple of weeks I was having hallucinations. some I have never talked about and some that were just funny and some really pretty. I have had a few since then but very few.

Manyasthma inhalers contain beta-agonist drugs that open up the airways. Some people experience increased sweating after taking these medications. They include albuterol (Ventolin, Proventil, ProAir) and levalbuterol (Xopenex).

Discontinuation Notice

On October 1, 2022, Teva discontinued manufacturing ProAir® HFA (albuterol sulfate) Inhalation Aerosol. If you currently use or prescribe ProAir® HFA there is an authorized generic option of ProAir® HFA available

Tell us about those hallucinations. The funny ones

Well I did it. I got up at 4 am and got those two loaves of sourdough in the oven so they would be ready for DH to take to work along with the two loaves of French bread I baked yesterday. Then I started that focaccia and got it finished this evening, he takes it in tomorrow. Gonna have to make one of those for us, it looks pretty good. It's basically a flat bread you can put anything on that you want. It's thicker than a pizza and I made it in a rectangular pan. Customer wanted garlic, red onions and tomatoes. No cheese. If I make one it will have green and black olives, red onions, cherry tomatoes ... rosemary and dill, I think. Maybe I will take a pic in the morning.

Do they have a lost and found? Maybe someone turned them in.
I checked customer service desk right away. Then every desk along the corridor every step along the path I'd trod, no joy. I mean I retraced every step I'd taken. I just don't understand how it happened. I keep my keys on a caribiner attached to my purse, which lives on my shoulder.

It was either a clump of grass or a dog fennel that I had knocked down. It was in a place I normally would not been in. All my falls are more related to balance. Not even vertigo but a change of direction suddenly can trip me up. I've either got to retire fully to the porch or figure out a way to stay on my feet better. I've fallen twice I think in the house changing my mind about which way I was headed..
My cane has saved me many a fall. In the last six months or so, I notice I'm a little wobbly on turns too. I'd already been using it for several years because the tendon in my left leg is unreliable and I never know when a joint in that leg might suddenly collapse, possibly subjecting me to a fall. Could be hip, knee or ankle, I never know, so I just keep it in hand "in case," as insurance, but now there's this other weakness that's more ... I don't know, spinal, maybe? Or is it in my head? A momentary dizziness? Whatever it is, I'm glad to have the cane. I don't think it makes me look old, I think it makes me look ... dashing. (An old guy in our church can barely walk but he refuses to use a cane because he thinks it would make him "look old.")

I saw an 80+ year old grandma with a gray pony tail down to her waist go flying down a side walk across the street from me....... on a skate board.

Pretty one.... One morning I got up and went out as usual on my farm (didn't have a farm at the time) to check on the crops and the corn field was a very beautiful shade of green and was just about up to the axle on the shiny new John Deere tractor parked where I had left it at the end of the rows ready for the next day of cultivating. There was one more nice one. The other one I will never utter a word of. Makes me ill to think of it.

Tom had a bad spell today. Scared me pretty good. He started to sit up then just fell back in the chair with his eyes closed. He was very dizzy sweating and refused hospital. He told me to check on him and he went to his room
Bummer. How is he now? Do you have any way of checking his blood pressure, or his heart rate?

I've used a cane for several years. Don't care about looks either. Just sometimes I don't have a third hand to hold i with when dealing with free ranging chickens. All the more reason to lose the layers and just breed and play with birds that make good pets and maybe for show. Those that are waist high.....at their eyes.
