If you research mitochondria you might learn that okra is really good for your well being.Sometimes we steam okra over a pot of fresh shelled black eyed peas. Stick a fork right behind the stem end and it will slide down as easy as a raw oyster. I do chew mine though. Another thing okra is good for is my lipid panel. It works on cholesterol. It has the good kind of fiber.
