Granny's gone and done it again

Just coming on for a minute. Seems like it's one thing after another lately. My Richard called this afternoon after I got back from the dr. Says .. well..something interesting has happened. I'm in the ER. I burned my foot pretty badly. He kept his foot under hot water as he got ready for a bath. The tub had felt real cold to him so he sat on the side and turned the hot water on thinking he would for just a min. Didn't realize that foot was right in the stream..or just didn't think it mattered. He can't feel a thing in his feet. Long story short. Noticed white bubbles happening. Did wrap it himself. Not sure how many days later he went to change it. It was bad, real bad. He isn't far from the hospital. Strolled on over. They were quite concerned about infection. Started an IV right away for antibiotics. Took photos for Salt Lake City burn unit. They said..we're worried about infection right now. Of course they're keeping him and are being right out honest with him that he may lose the foot. They will pretty much decide tomorrow if the infection looks to be the same or if it's spreading. I didn't go to the hospital with Austin. Worried about all what's spreading around right now. I told him to tell the nurse on that he's susceptible to blood clots. Had one once from his knee to his upper thigh. Real long. They ask..oh..should we put those things on his feet to pump? Austin says, I don't think that would be a good idea. The nurse looks at his readon for being there. Oh! I guess not. Austin says we just want you to know that it's something to watch for. Poor Richard says, I know I would be fine about my foot, but I'm scared. Austin gave him a Priesthood blessing while there. All of the family are praying. Blue..you know what to do. I don't want to write this out again. Or even part of it. Thank you!
Add my prayers for Richard. Burns are so dangerous. I hope the antibiotics win the day.

Stress molt, Wishing? Good to know! Was not aware that was a thing.
I wasn't sure what I was seeing until I read some byc posts from others whose birds did the same thing.
It's better than what I was thinking... that they ate something poisonous or caught a virus or fungus or something nasty.

Cynthia, I'm so sorry to hear about Richard getting burned and will be praying for his swift and complete recovery. I have to tell you that hot water heater is set way too hot. No hot water heater should be set so hot that the water will scald you.
I agree

Morning all, Slept til 8 so a good rest for me. @Cynthia12 How are things going today? Any news? Did you go to the dr for your results?
I hope everything you get today is good news. Lots of people praying for you and Richard.
