Yep. Got a cortisone shot a few months back. It's helped a lot, until the past few weeks. Hurts pretty bad now.

Don't cortisone shots in the fingers hurt a lot too? My ortho doc doesn't like doing shots for arthritis in fingers because of the injection pain... Still ...........

Usually not. But even Canada may be doing the push to electric furnaces/water heaters/stoves - always had electric stoves but natural gas furnace/hot water heater when I was up there. And when it’s bloody freakin cold…it’d be a strain on even the stoutest system.

All progress is good

This is my island in the sun (just think of the rats in a muppets Christmas carol hang on I must find it now)

So the chickens went off to their new home last night. I am officially chicken-less and it ducks.

Work is driving me batty but I’ll rant on that one later. Got the house mostly packed - got maybe one last box to go.

Purchasers are doing a final walk through tomorrow.

Ninja edit. H2O I’m with you. Hubs got a new handgun though for fun and protection…I made the suggestion I should go down to the range and take some lessons on it. He seemed a little hurt I didn’t want him to teach me but….

When you get settled somewhere will you have chickens again?

I'm sore and tired. Did a full days work. Hard manual labor. Then there was time for some fun. This boy is the most patient subject for the camera. He lets me or my wife pick him up and groom him without fuss once in the house. He has a pad out back in the sunroom during this bitter cold coming in.

Oh man, I can't begin to tell ya! I couldn't believe how painful that was. Austin is sitting next to me..I get the little..sting..for numbing. Yeah right! When he started to inject the med..I turned my head towards Austin and said ..oh man..this hurts..oh man it hurts, I kept saying that over and over and scrention my eyes. Whew!

Thanks, Hon, I will. The amount of SS I get now would barely be cigarette money if I still smoked. I spent my "working" years mostly staying home raising kids and for that I have no regrets. But if I'm entitled to a little more than that, it would sure help. DH is 68 and still working. Kids is expensive! Thank you so much!

Granny it's my bedtime again. I hope you are OK. I know what you are going through with those ribs. I worked mine hard to day for the first time since I busted them up and now they are complaining. Not real bad but they are telling me to rest tomorrow. I will as the temps will be in the thirties most of the day. It might even snow. My bed is in good working order. The electric blanket is working fine too. Just hoping I don't need the generator. No high winds to blow trees down so just maybe we get a pass this go around.
