Granny I hope you were able to sleep enough last night to take on the day. I would have some one take a look at that fireplace and make sure it is in working order and if so It could be used in any emergency like now. Even with a brand spanking new system if there is a grid failure it will not put out heat like a fireplace would in sub zero temps. Just thinking out loud Granny.

What is a grid failure? It does have a fan but it is oh so very loud. It doesnt blow well either.

Grid failure is when there is no electric power available in the system that supplies electricity. No fun at all.

Buyer should be here within an hour for the last of the layers that we are selling off. Working at getting down to 40-50 hens total. Not sure about some of the birds but money talks.

I'd like to shop the thrift stores for a lift chair for me and ma both. My mother got a like new one for a $100.
