As soon as it gets fired and cooled down. I go to town on Thursday and then put it in the kiln. Lori comes along and fires it when she gets in the studio. Firing and cool down takes about 24 hours.

the clay pots they sell at lowes for house plants, They have some type of glaze on them I wonder if its the same thing you do? They are expensive. Like $30 for a 7inch.

No, they use molds and liquid clay. All are exactly the same shape. Mine are made from plastic consistency clay by hand. They all vary somewhat.
