Granny all they can do is say no. I'm not sure what I would do. I know that they would not want bad publicity and I know they don't want to open up for other to try and make an accident happen to collect either.

What they may come back to you is why were you not in the cross hatched walk area... Then you have to prove there were to many people that day for the cross hatched area to handle. I really don't know why it's made that way. The cross hatched area should have been as wide as the posts are maybe to accommodate heavier foot traffic.

my insurance only pays for glasses every 2 yrs. I think. It may be a yr. But I know its not when ever you want.

They may cover an accidental damage replacement. That is where I would start.
