The PP tree huh? The dogs might take a liking to it. I've got to put an electric fence around my cherry tree. There's a male dog paying his respects all to often now. Not putting up with it. My chickens don't cross the road and there dogs need to stay home and not run rampant in my garden at night. I've put the juice to 'em before and am going to do it again. 20,000 volts sends 'em home in a hurry.

Hey all, Larry is right, I slept the day away. Dr gave me something for sinus and it knocked me on my butt.

Farm fence chargers that use 20,000 volts have very little amperage. It's the lack of amps that let squirrels to people get into the fence and walk away. I want get near it when it is hot now because of the danger to my heart possibly. I have been bitten a lot of times by the 20,000 volt system in Missouri and so did my kids. Kids were slower to learn than the dogs.

I need to get one more bunch of onions to fill out the bed. I planted a row of sugar snap peas today by the trellis and another row of Sugar Anna peas that do not use a trellis. Both are edible pod for stir fry. I grew Sugar Snaps I think the first year they were available in the 70's. I'll have to muster up the energy for that one more bunch of onions tomorrow. Planting some for use with the stir fry peas and carrot and what ever tickles Ma's fancy. I got tired early and didn't get the maters in the ground. I put the peach tree in a location to where I won't miss.

I've been looking at carrot varieties and am trying to figure out the better one for canning for using in soup and beef stew later. Looking at pumpkins too. Pumpkins can make some good chicken feed both with the seed and the pumpkin meat itself. I've only raised the little pie pumpkins in the past but I see a variety that makes good pies and weighs 40-60 lbs. I might get my fill of pumpkin pie and pumpkin cakes with a couple of 60 lb ones.
