Some days are always better than others but none are as bad as they could have been. There is an old song from my era about "Baby the Rain Must Fall". Some times we just have to have some rain even though we might think it is not needed.

We wrangled more chickens out to the grow out pen today and hen dug all of the remaining potatoes. About 80lbs I'm guessing. Two 5 gallon buckets over flowing of them and each buck felt like was carrying a 50lb bag of chicken feed. Some will get canned. Ma wants to try using the dry method of canning some as they are in prime condition for it. She has one of those 4qt countertop pressure caners that should work fine for that.

My chair is working now but can't sit in it very long. My hips need an injection again. It's been nearly a year since I got the first in the joint injection.

for me. I dont have the energy to even walk to it. I wish I knew how I could change this. Its very depressing.

BBL. Had some good sleep but not enough. To hot to be working outside right now but we will be back outside with a cooler packed with cold drinks that have electrolytes in them.
