Save the seed out of a non hybrid melon. Wash and dry between two paper towels and vacuum seal in a bag. That's how I would do it.how would one collect the seed?
Yup. And then subdivide.Do you cut them into slices first?![]()
how long would I need to let them dry and How would I know if they are hybrids?Save the seed out of a non hybrid melon. Wash and dry between two paper towels and vacuum seal in a bag. That's how I would do it.

Tom only ate it once and it has bits so Robert cant eat it.Does Tom and Robert like the lasagne?
If they come from a store they are likely to be a hybrid for disease resistance and higher productivity. There are a lot of non hybrid still grown too. If they tell you what they are you can google and find out if hybrid or not. Disease resistance is important and some of the best tasting small melons I've raise were hybrids.how long would I need to let them dry and How would I know if they are hybrids?
