Well now I can bring the ribs in off of the grill and and we can eat before doing evening chores. The latest radar shows the rain missing us by 5 or so miles so we may not get a drop and can proceed with garden chores that I need to do.

we used to parboil the ribs til they were tender then grill them. Makes me hungry!

I hope I can find some Royal Oak charcoal to grill with soon. The Kingsford I have is nothing like it used to be.

We had relatives that did in the past but we never have. I just cook them really slow and let them kind of steam tender in the sauce. I think next time after they are browned on all sides I'm going to wrap them fully sauced in tin foil to finish.

Missouri has also passed laws making pot legal for recreational as well as medical use. GC has her medical card. I'm glad it helps her but the stuff smells like skunk! Thankfully she uses it outside.

I dont like the one with the starter fluid already in it. Takes forever to burn down

Never used it and never will. I have a chimney that lets me use newspaper to start the coals.
