I remember when there were some inexpensive steak chains with indoor dining and they had a small steak dinner for about $6 and it was a hit with seniors who didn't have big appetites and wallets. Think they are all gone now. Bonanza, Ponderosa, etc.

Ponderosa was good here too. One nice thing about being older>> Senior discounts here and there..or senior menues.

those also closed here but we just got culvers.

We don't care for Culver's. In & Out Burgers are good to me now. Didn't use to like them but sure do now.

Kids are all put to bed. I mowed around some of the coops while I was out and waiting on the brooder bunch to put themselves to bed. I no longer try to round them up. If they go and hide somewhere and something eats them before I do so be it. To tired and feeble for the monkeyshines out of them.

We don't care for Culver's. In & Out Burgers are good to me now. Didn't use to like them but sure do now.

I don't care for Culver's either. I think we were in TX when we stopped at one. Not as good as Hardee's big burgers. Never been to an In & Out as they are not found this far east as far as I know. Do like 5 Guys but it's been a long time since we've been in one. Love their home style fries cut from fresh potatoes.

Our kids are put to bed too. Not too often we have a "camper," mostly they go to bed like proper children. Happens once in a while but not often. Almost always the same silly hen.

I've always like Church's Fried Chicken and we have one that finally opened up after closing during Covid. But why would I go to a chicken place with so many candidates for Freezer Camp under my feet when I'm out working?
