It's been dark awhile but we are all locked up for the night. Chicken coop and ours.

Chicks that were in the indoor brooder are in the outdoor brooder box under the careful watch of Jerry Lee our outdoor rooster in charge of the kids at night. He teaches them about the roosts and how to use them each time we move more kids out of the outdoor brooder box into the brooder house with him. They know each other having just a bird netting separating them for a few days or possibly a few weeks. He takes care of the kids like a mother hen. Calls them to the feeder and water fountain. He is an unbelievable Rooster Dad.

They left Lebanon, MO for KC MO mid day Monday. They haven't moved since then for the last day and a half. No wonder people went Postal.

One batch coming in and another that we hatched leaving for freezer camp Friday.
