It's coming from somewhere, dear lady. You just haven't hit on the right doctor yet.

Do you have any 'egg carton' foam mattress pads? If you do, cut squares of that to sit on, several layers stuffed in a pillow case or artificial Sherpa fabric, aka fake lambs wool. Sit on an old bed pillow with the Sherpa fabric on it. And remember to keep as much pressure off your butt as you can.

thank you. No egg carton. Used to. My bed is memory foam and I haven't been in it since this happened.

I remember getting an egg foam insert for our bed 25 or more years ago. Cheap from Walmart. The thin egg foam can be used on top of the memory foam. We have memory foam too and I'm not sure if it remembers all that well.
