I let paperwork build up on my dining room table. I finally got it sorted. I can see my table again. I get overwhelmed.

I've slept a lot today. Going out now to move feed from the van to the coops. It's not going to move on its own.

I used to foster, usually kind of by accident. It was wonderful to keep a dog for a while, deal with any behavioral issues it might have, slap a little basic obedience on it, and then ... find the perfect home for it! Then, do it all over again.

I would get too attached to it.

I had mine with a teaspoon of butter and two teaspoon of honey blended in a blender until frothy.

It is sad when they get adopted, but then you get to take in a new dog! (Plus, you don't want them to die instead!)

Please let me know if you have any questions! I have fostered over 15 dogs in the last 4 1/2 yrs. I am thinking of starting a foster dog/cat thread sometime soon!

I would so love to do that. Boro rules would allow it and I have room. However I'm a little overwhelmed caring for DH.
I've been training my 2 cavaliers so I can get service papers to take them with me everywhere I go .I got the papers last week. (I have bipolar,anxiety disorder,Crohn's & kidney disease so had no problems being approved) My biggest problem is getting people not to pet them, Even with a sign saying please don't pet. I will admit they are adorable sitting quietly side by side in their cart. Betty at 12lbs and Butchy Boy at 15lbs they look like toys. It's elderly women who beg to pet them most, I think they just miss the sign. But if one person pets them, then the puppies reach their paws out to everybody for attention.. Going grocery shopping I have my own cart . Yesterday Butchy Boy decided he wants to stay standing in his cart and peer out over the top and I was suddenly surrounded by people wanting to pet him and of course he rec
iprocated. It's a training in progress. I frequently hear, take then to retirement villages

Good Morning Everyone. I'll be resting to day so I can do some planting in the morning. Dang rib hates me for falling on it nearly a year ago. I didn't hesitate to take the full boat load of meds this morning once the chickens were care for. I have a little daughter of my sweet Honey girl that I think ate some poisonous weeds and died. I hold her every morning with I open up the pet coop. Today I brought her in with me. She sat in my lap and made no attempt to leave it. She got a little bit of a treat before I took her back outside. I think she will be as attached to me and Ma as her mom was. I have a cute small game rooster (actually 4 that she can choose from) that with her help will keep us in pets as long as we live.

Every time I think and say we don't need to buy any more chickens I managed to find some I want. Crazy chicken math is a disease. I want some Wheaten Cubalaya bantams come spring just for pets.

Caring for your husband, I understand the anxiety part. I took care of my husband too as you know by now. Alzheimer’s.
As you know, love is not only what we say, love is what you do. You have been showing your love for quite a while. I can only hope you know that you are loved for the care you give him. God sees you.
