I can go into the MRI machine because it isn't the normal metal. My son Richard who has Spina Bifuda has it in his back. He's gone through so many MRI machines. One time the guy had him do something for fun to show why he can't wear his jeans with metal zippers in there. Richard was walking with crutches then. He had him step back from the door. Once far enough back he opened the door. Richard's crutches started pulling forward. The guy hurried and shut the door. Man, that strong without being in it.

Living with chronic pain is tough.

My Occipital Neuralgia is really bad lately. I'm thinking I'm getting ready to give in to some botox shots in my neck and shoulders.

Hopefully that injection will also help with the butt pain, which could be the sciatica.

It is sciatica. Need the epidural for it but have to wait on PT first then can get the epidural that will last for a year or more for me.

It's different for everyone. Full recovery takes 3 to 6 months.
Real down time for me was a week ..but I could get up to go do a few things right away. Very few things. Potty room. Sit at table to eat.
