Yes 25 mg, normally one would knock me out. Don't know what's going on. Eyes are burning. Pink eye? Just remembered when I got Covid in 2020, it started in my eyes. Oh please God not that! I just found an ophthalmic ointment and used that. Helps a little but now I can't see. Will keep you posted. Later.

@BigBlueHen53 let's just hope it's allergies and not covid. We have friends who are fighting it out in PA. Daughter got it at work, she's a special ed teacher, she brought it home, mom got it then granny got it and now dad has it. Dad said that this is his second go round with it and this time it's really knocked him for a loop.

Have you tried rinsing your eyes with cold water? My Doctor Honey told me to try it and it does work with allergy eyes. Also try Pataday eye drops if you get too miserable. They are OTC without a script.

Benedryl....hmmmmm. I take 50 mg at night. Helps me sleep and helps keep my post nasal drip at bay, that and Singulair. I'm so used to them that they don't phase me. I take Zyrtec during the day. Nope. No drowsiness. I'm allergic to just about everything except dogs. No joke. And yeah, one of our cats likes to sleep next to my head. Evidently she doesn't understand the meaning of 'I can't breathe'.

@CapricornFarm. Hey, do like the lawyer did when he spent an hour and a half in the waiting room waiting on his doctor. Bill him. My doc is pretty decent when it comes to making me wait. usually no longer than 15 minutes.

Feeling a bit better today. My guts aren't hurting today but my back is still bothering me and my energy still has gone south. I keep reminding myself that it takes a week or so for things to settle down. Back to eating ground meat and soft veggies again. Sigh. Shouldn't have eaten that sugar free chocolate pudding. My bad.

DH told me to pass on that Benedryl can cause eye burning and dryness. It will help with allergy symptoms by drying up mucous so it also dries out your eyes.

That might be why your eyes are bothering you more.
