It kept popping at me as SOB (instead of SOP) and I know what that is in street slang.
When I worked in the hospital, one of my coworkers was admitted. When I got her papers to put her on a diet(I worked in nutrition services), I was surprised to see the diagnosis as SOB. I did learn the medical term for SOB is shortness of breath. She passed away from an aortic aneurysm.

I lost my maternal grandfather to an aortic aneurysm. He was on the table being prepped for surgery to fix it when it ruptured.

Lost my paternal grandfather to a brain aneurysm. He was about 72. I was in the second grade at the time. My maternal grandfather was 82 and I was a sophomore in high school.
