Nancy isn't coming tomorrow. I'm not sure if I can handle Tom and myself walking in and out and I don't know where to take him. He really doesn't want to go out.

GC and I are in Centralia tonight, took Young Sir back to school. We are in a motel, will head back home tomorrow.

Yes, once a month he has a one-week home leave. The school busses him to St Louis and we pick him up there. It's about a three-hour trip for us one way, so we can make it there and back in six hours even if we stop to eat.

But this was not a regular home leave. This was an unscheduled special trip where we went and got him, pulled him out of school for the election. We had to go all the way to the school in Centralia to get him - five hours each way. So we took two days and booked a motel. GC did it by herself Sunday and Monday bc I was still too sick to travel after two nights in the ER the previous week. But today I'm recovered enough to help with the driving. Thank God!

Oh no i invited her. I haven’t seen her for years. We got into the dogs together. Then she moved about 5 hours away. We both got our first show dogs in 1995.

I agree with you. Even my towels don't match. I'm totally fine with it but when I get visitors I think about all those little things.

Yeah almost all my towels are dog towels. I have bought one nice set I reserve for company. I never use a towel just use my nice fluffy robe that absorbs l8ke a towel.

Perfect! I have some "nice" towels but don't look too close, even my best ones show evidence of having been chewed, I mean loved on, by one or another of the dogs. Somebody please explain to me how this happens, as I have a special tote JUST for old ratty "dog" towels!
