Granny's gone and done it again

What's everybody doing for the big turkey day? We go to Rockbridge, a wonderful trout farm/ restaurant/ lodge at the western end of the state for dinner. Keeps me from having to deal with relatives and we get an amazing meal! Also I took a smoked turkey out of the freezer, hope it's thawed by Thursday, so we can have all the sandwiches and leftovers anybody could want! Might make some side dishes, we bought a pumpkin pie and I have some canned cranberries.

We are getting 2 meals! Hahahaha My Nancy is cooking Wed. and Toms DD is cooking Thurs. Roasted chicken for the first and ham for the second. With all the fixings too.

DD is bringing 2 pies and a cake. The cake sounds good. Pound cake from a box and strawberry toppings stuff. I don't really like pie. Its the crust. yucky. I tolerate the graham cracker but not crazy about it. Tom used to make dream pie every Christmas and sometimes Thanksgiving and Robert has filled those shoes now. He makes 2 and I have one piece and they devour the rest. There is only one thing these girls are making that Robert will eat. Mashed potatoes. Makes me sad. I asked him if he would like some Mac& cheese to go along with it and he said no. He is still sick. Getting worse I think. He is taking dayquil
