I don't remember doing any of those things. Looked at the house, made an offer then went to mortgage place for the loan. They paid him and he handed me the keys. That was in 07It's quite the process.
Spread a layer of tar on the tank, then lay some mesh down and put a layer of tar on top, smooth it out and let it cure for three days. You can do that on the outside and inside. If you want to add cement anyway that’s fine. What I don’t know is if the tar on the outside will dry out too quickly to make it worthwhile.The tank was evidently on sale. $299.99 last summer they were about 400.00 We can kind of repair it next spring/summer, by filling the bottom of the tank with cement up past where its rusted out/cracked. I'll move it to the young stock's area.
