Granny's gone and done it again

I just try to make sure we have something from each of those four food groups every day. Fruits, grains, veggies and nuts. I keep jars of nuts on the counter for everyone to dip into whenever they want a snack. Walnuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios, pepitas (pumpkin seeds). Toasted, either not salted or lightly salted. Good source of protein, much better than bags of chips which are just salt, sugar and empty calories, a waste of money.

Yes, we eat chicken and sometimes fish, also ground turkey, but we don't eat meat every day. You know GC can't have mammal meat now but even before she got that allergy we probably only ate beef once or twice a month. Meat is not necessary for health if you know what you're doing. We don't miss it. We eat very well here.
I don't eat much of it either any more but its because we cant afford it. When I do buy meat its the cheap stuff. Hamburger, hot dogs ect.. One time not too long ago Robert brought home a corned beef. $20.+ .

Roberts hair is literally shrinking. I'm thinking meds. He is on so many. I bet its a good 4 in. shorter than it was. He has some pretty nasty meds. Could be diet related but I don't think it is.
Poor Robert! There's so much he can't eat. Must be hard for him to get good nutrition.
