How'd you guys rate 38°? I would take 38 over the current 7° that it is here right now. We are supposed to see middle 40s over the weekend. The only bare spots we have at the moment are the places where DH plowed it down to the grass and where the deer have been digging around looking for browse. It's amazing how close they are coming up to the house and coop this year. Usually they are satisfied gnawing on the fruit trees.Awww, bummer, Chick! Sorry to hear but thanks for letting me know. It's that cold up there?? It's 38° here right now. I don't mind the mix of mud, ice and snow ... now that the chooks can see brown terra firma again they are back out in their big run again instead of just the tiny run right around their coop! They're much happier!
Scoliosis is a really bad word.I've got a mild scoliosis in my lumbar spine along with a severely degenerated disc that like to remind me who is really in charge--especially when I decide to unload feed bags from the van by myself. Then it turns into the pain that keeps on giving.
Have you ever roasted tomatoe paste. I was watching a cooking show and this guy was cooking hot dog casserole. He browned the tomatoe paste@BigBlueHen53 have you ever tried soybean flour? It's gluten free, and high in protein and fiber. I'm going to try it. I think I will put it in a pan on low heat while stirring to roast it. Fresh roasted soybeans are delicious. I've roasted corn meal like that. It adds real good flavor
