I know they check with ..your..insurance first. Mine must have been ok.
I wouldn't take the pain pills anyway. I don't do well with them. They said to use heat and to take anti inflammatory meds.
I don't use pain pills even after surgery. After my shoulder surgery I just used ice. It was a big surgery too.

My NP said use the RICE method: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. Not heat. Doing that. It helps. Still hurts, but not at 9.75. More like, eh, 6.9, lol. I don't do well with pain pills either. Most make me itch, want to tear my skin off. Like you said, Tizanidine is not a pain pill. But it works like one. Giving me some relief. I took one earlier today. I can't take NSAIDs while on Meloxicam, only Tylenol.

Melixicam or Naproxen, both are NSAIDs. Can't take Ibuprofen with those.
