I just had to put Tom back to bed. He thought it was AM. Poor guy. This is what happens when he goes to bed so early.

I guess I should of said my blackberries are thornless Darrow I believe. They are huge and very sweet. The raspberries are tiny, wild and very sour.
I had some wild strawberries for a couple years here and I never thought they would be eatable but they were the sweetest best little berry I ever had. Shame they died out.

We have 2 different varieties of thornless blackberries. Quachita and Ponca. Both highly improved and large. 4 varieties of large raspberries.

We may pick a few this summer but I don't expect any until next year. I think they have thorns.

Good Morning Granny Land. Road trip this morning. Going to pickup a GGK while she is out for spring break. Will go buy several places we need to pickup supplies at. Parents will be over Friday afternoon and they will go home on Sunday afternoon. No tilling or heavy lifting for me until Monday. Family nurses are looking at my slow pulse rate and thinking that I may be in for a Pacemaker. Shock... That's supposed to happen to old people. Y'all be good. No name calling while I'm gone.

Good morning Granny Land. I'm getting an early start this morning so we can go pick up oldest great grandchild for the weekend. She is 10 and loves the chickens. It should be an interesting visit. I'm sure I will learn a lot.
