Granny's gone and done it again

Hows your pain level MC? You think the tramadol is better then Percocet?
It's had it's moments, Granny but hasn't gotten above a 5 for me so far today.

I managed to get cleaned up with a fresh shirt.Bought a package of camisole tops on Amazon that I can step into and with DHs help wrestle into in Lieu of a bra. So I feel a bit more humanish.

As for pain. The Tramadol is working much better than the hydrocodone for some reason. Today I seem to be more sore than anything else. Like don't touch me don't breath on me don't even look at my arm sort of sore. But at least my wedge pillow Will be here tomorrow any hopefully I'll get a good nights sleep finally.

Dr. yesterday took pictures of my eyes and I got a call from the hospital saying it showed left eye retinopathy. Said it was important to see their eye Dr. and could she make me an appt.? They are booked 3 months away. So if its that bad why would I want to wait 3 months? I told her no
Find a doc that will see you sooner rather than later. Call them back and tell them that you want referred to a retina specialist. Advice from my Doctor Honey.

Well it feels like I keep looking negative at things. I'm trying to think more positive, appreciate what I have, remember it could always be worse and enjoy what I'm doing.

The ambulance was by the elderly neighbors. I went over to make sure they are okay and see if they need anything. The couple were both in tears. She has breast cancer and her Dr just told her she has 1-3 years of life left. I know their tears are not for her... They are for him. He will be the one left behind
At first I didn't know how to comfort them. But then I said God is the only one that knows when her last day is. I encouraged them not to focus on how short her life will be but instead do things together they enjoy. Enjoy your life together...

I'm trying to live up to what I told her and find enjoyment in my own life with DH. I will enjoy doing the floor... Because I'm still healthy enough to do so!
Good advice. Hope things go well for your DH. He's been through so much.

Prayers sent for him to have a speedy recovery.

I like to say that we all have an expiration date stamped on the back of our heads where we can't see it because if we did we would worry and not enjoy life.

One day at a time, Chick. Yes, a blessing we can't see tomortow!

Did you try a different eye Dr? I have to Google that word

Tell him thank you for me. The test the Dr. did was pretty lame and I don't have any symptoms. I'm not really worried about it but I will call .
