Yeah. I spent three nights in a big comfy rocking chair with my feet on a hassock. Then switched back to bed with a wedge pillow that lets me recline like I'm sitting in a recliner. Right now I can't bend over without my shoulder starting to throb. I'm wearing the sling 24/7 except to do PT, Went outside for some fresh air. Made the mistake of bending over to pull a few weeds and went running for the ice therapy again.

At least the ice helps.

Think I'll tell them on Tuesday when I go in that they need to give out a flyer that says Attention! This procedure hurts like Hades. The
PT hurts like Hades. You will go broke keeping the ice therapy machine in ice, and the abduction sling is as comfortable as a medieval torture device. Have a nice recovery!

It's a painful procedure for sure. You'll get there. Takes time, but time goes by faster when you're having fun.
Wait. You're not having fun.
Still. It'll get better.

My Yvonne is here, vacuuming and dusting. I don't have a Nancy, I have a Yvonne. She's a member from my church, she comes once a week and won't let me pay her! It's wonderful to have all the dog hair cleaned up once a week!
