I used to love it in my hot tea but I haven't had tea in many years.The smell is wonderful.

You do, Iris! Everybody does who comes on here just to visit and share, it helps keep life normal and take our minds off our problems. Does for me anyway!

Even though we have never met face to face I feel that we are all friends. I pray daily that God will provide the help each of you needs. Whatever that is, pain relief, general healing, or just the strength to get through the day.

At the lab waiting for them to get some of my blood. Then going to the library and then DQ to get an anniversary cake. Married since 1978.

Happy Anniversary! May you have 47 more great years. Pa and I have been married 60 years.

DH said our one-month old chicks not only moved into the hen house last night, they also managed to find themselves a place on the roost! I'll see if he can get a pic tonight.

Afternoon Granny Land. Hot and humid. It's supposed to be. 94° on the porch now.

Our broody with the 6 Legbar chicks integrated hers into the flock on day 2 without our consent. At 10 days they were scrapping with their aunts over treats. Poppa rooster tries to feed them. I stay out in the afternoons with them out on the grass as I'm wary of a feral cat or crow trying to pick one off. She has 3 boys and 3 girls. I don't know how many exactly of the incubator chicks we hatched got move earlier to the outdoor brooder coop but I think around 60. Hoping for 24 pullets. Should have had a brooder box ready for the boys and girls at hatch but wasn't thinking that far ahead.
