It is prepatellar bursitis. I call it good news because it didn't have an infection and no blood clots in the deep vein. A small clot closer to the skin but that will go away with heat. The knee cap bursitis is full of fluid so they put an ace bandage on it and are sending me to the orthopedist to remove the fluid. I'm not supposed to be taking anti inflammatory meds because of the Crohn's and kidney disease.
I first noticed it on Tuesday but it didn't hurt, I didn't remember any injuries and was trying to be careful what I do. Yesterday it turned red and blue and green , and swelled up worse and it hurt.
Yesterday I was trying to do like @bigbluehen and stay off my leg. I'm actually supposed to keep on using it light duty. By not using it, my knee got stiff and painful
They checked for tick bites but those results weren't back

Morning all, Im not even close to being awake. No good sleep last night.Gave up at 5am and feeling like a zombie Maybe 2 very restless hours of sleep
Farms, that sounds really painful. I have bursitis in my hips but I don't think its the same as yours,

What's good sleep anymore? The last time I went to bed was 5am. Was up just after 7am. Going to farm the canned goods aisles and produce departments from now own. No fall garden. Didn't even finish spring gardens. Going to keep chickens going. Loving the handful of chicks we got from Greenfire Farms a few weeks back. Want some more of their Bielefelder pullets. I want to move away from these hoop coops into hurricane solid mini barns. Right now wanting and doing are a few bodies apart. We must make taking care of our flocks a lot easier with as much automation as possible. I'm thinking of in coop cameras to monitor them in bad weather.
