Granny's gone and done it again

Gold Bond also. They make various types of it. I use Gold Bond cream for severe dry skin, think it has aloe in it. I use it on my heels to keep them from drying out and cracking. Good stuff.

Old trick we used to use when elderly women would chafe under their, ummmm, challoobies shall we say? Clean, dry, applied whatever cream the doctor had prescribed and then we would cover the areas with soft white wash cloths. The weight of the breasts would keep the cloths in place and prevent further chafing.

Might be able to do that with a pair of shorts to hold the cloths into place or do as suggested and liberally powder down your thighs with Gold Bond or Monkey Butt, put the wash cloths against your thighs then you can lie on your back or even on your side without irritating the areas more.

My dad would swear by Gold Bond for chafing. He would chafe on his thighs also.

OH! and if you are using a powder or even a cream and your chafed areas are oozing, make sure you shower them off and gently wash them before you apply more topical. Even if the area is dry, don't layer on anything. Keep clean and as dry as possible till you are healed then personally, I would use a powder for chafing regularly through hot weather cause it will happen again.

Take care, Shrek.
Thank you so much!!!!!! This is really helpful!!!!

I can’t remember it either. I looked it up and I think it mentioned powder or Vaseline LOL I haven’t tried anything cause I don’t have either. And I don’t have epsom salts or a tub or bucket 😭🤣
Raid the kitchen, Dawg. Cornstarch makes awesome dusting powder!

Dear Diary: A Week in the Kitchen with Bob
MONDAY
Cooking for Bob is such a joy! Today, I made angel food cake. The recipe said to "beat 12 eggs separately," so I borrowed extra bowls from the neighbors and got cracking. Literally.
TUESDAY
Bob asked for fruit salad for dinner. The recipe said “serve without dressing,” so I didn’t wear any. Imagine my shock when Bob walked in with a friend! I suppose I should start reading the whole recipe first.
WEDNESDAY
Rice night. The instructions said to “wash thoroughly before steaming.” So I hopped in the bath. The rice tasted the same, but at least I was squeaky clean.
THURSDAY
Bob wanted salad again, so I tried a new recipe. It said: “Prepare ingredients, then toss on a bed of lettuce one hour before serving.” That’s when Bob caught me rolling around in the garden. I’m still not sure what I did wrong.
FRIDAY
I found a cookie recipe that said to “put all ingredients in a bowl and beat it.” I did — but when I came back, everything looked exactly the same. I think the recipe was defective.
SATURDAY
Bob went grocery shopping and brought home a chicken. He told me to “dress it for Sunday.” Not sure why he looked so shocked when I put a tiny sweater on it. Also, he keeps counting to ten around me now.
SUNDAY
Bob’s parents came for dinner, and I wanted to serve roast. But all I could find was hamburger. I had a lightbulb moment — I popped the hamburger in the oven and set it to “roast.” It still came out as hamburger. Very disappointing.
GOOD NIGHT, DEAR DIARY
What a week it’s been! I can’t wait for tomorrow — I’ve got a new recipe I want to try out on Bob. If only we had a bigger oven, I could finally surprise him with that Chocolate Moose.
