tis easy BUT no way I can eat the much ice cream. and IT's not as good once you stick it in the deep freeze after eating it once. Was one of the family traditions growing up. Menfolk ran the ice cream mixer/freezer in the basement and drank some beer while the mixer churned/stirred the mixture until it was hard than soft serve and softer than store bought.

you mean it gets hard then soft again? I would like to try some of that one day. Robert and Tom would make sure there were no leftovers. Hahaha

NO when the churning/mixing/freeze cycle stops is between soft serve and store bought hard.

our recipe makes about 1/2 gallon I believe and would require actual cooking.

honestly I quit trying when I got down to a back a day. Keeping busy HELPS IMMENSILY and a "huffer stick" helps also

How long will you stay at one pack before you try to stop? Im struggling to get to one pack. I keep going over by a few. I do remember you saying when you reached your limit you would go to bed!
