I’d personally rather be dragged down or break a wrist or whatever than lose control of my dog. Granted, he usually always wears his e collar on walks now anyways and likely wouldn’t go far even without it but still… if there was a dog, he would approach them and/or annoy them and I don’t need that. But that said, I always put the handle up high on my forearm, not my actual wrist, and then hold the leash with my hand but still.

Sounds like you need to work him around dogs. Get him in class maybe.

He was in puppy class as a baby and we would’ve done more but then the place closed. I don’t have the money for classes now. Although maybe my dad would help lol
