Sorry I didn't get to this till now. I'll never get caught up so I'll just jump in here. I imagine this has been resolved. I think I saw that
@Rambling Iris hit on the bladder problem that Tom is having. Only other thing I could think of is that if there isn't a lot of urine in the bag sometimes the lumen of the catheter can lay up against the wall of the bladder and cause some discomfort.
Hope he is feeling better now.
The last two days have been weird here. Just can't seem to get caught up and then I discovered that I needed to stop my muscle relaxers because I was having some really weird side effects from them since I've been taking them three times a day for my shoulder spasms and pain. So I stopped them. They also helped me sleep at night by controlling back muscle spasms for me so last night slept like 5 hours.
Yesterday DH and I said 'BLEEP' it, we're out of here and we took off on the motorcycle for the afternoon. Had a great time. Sun was out and we road 50 miles on some back roads in the county. Came back tired but happy. Then the golden rod pollen exposure hit me like a anvil. Sigh. Okay, we went out when we got back and started scraping down the deck so we could get it ready to stain. Sneezing, coughing and dripping for about an hour before I conceded and came inside to sneeze, cough, gag and drip my way through the rest of the day.
My paralyzed little hen is still with me. I suspected she was injured but now I think it's Marek's rearing it's ugly head. She's not wanting to eat or drink unless I prompt her and then it's hit and miss. She tries to use her legs and she is almost like she is seizing. I get her to eat some scrambled egg twice a day and a bit of water but I expect to use her. One of my very favorite little hens. Very sweet and talkative. She liked to climb the fence like she was doing parkour whenever she saw me coming and would jump up and grab treats out of my hand.
God I hate Marek's.
@BigBlueHen53 I think you are getting the heavier rain and storms in your area today. We are getting rain but it's steady and not that hard. Just what we needed.
