I guess I gave bad advise. I take 2- 500s every 4 hrs when neededIt's not good to take to much Tylenol so I would take an Advil or Motrin (ibuprofen) instead. 650 mg of Tylenol is an 8 hour dose.

You got those injections today? When will you know anything?Been home for awhile now and had a nap. Moving slow. Pain levels hit 8 when I try to walk. Normal considering the med has not had time to help yet. Going to bed early well medicated. I'm so glad I'm not having to help Ma now doctor chickens out in the coops. All is well outside.
I've noticed my fingers hurting worse and the bones are kinda sticking up higher.Had a small supper. Need some more pillow time. Can't have a Meloxicam until 1pm tomorrow. Really need it after not having any for several days. Fingers are shot from the arthritis in them with no anti inflammatory.
Granny, that is 4,000 mg daily and the maximum recommended dose for a 24 hour period. Some doctors only want you to take 2500 mg daily. " It is not safe to use more than 4 grams (4,000 milligrams) of acetaminophen in one day (24 hours), as this may increase the risk for serious liver problems. For Tylenol® Extra Strength, the maximum dose is 3,000 milligrams per 24 hours" this is from the Mayo Clinic web site. Just want you to be careful. I worry.I guess I gave bad advise. He did get the epidural injection today. It was a steroid into the spinal column so it will take some time to really help. He is supposed to take it easy for 2 days (longer if I can make him do it!) then resume normal activity. He should start to feel some relief in 5 to 7 days. He goes back for follow up Nov. 7.You got those injections today? When will you know anything?
