I bet you will miss that place. I will! I hope where ever you move to you will love it just as much. I hope you don't stop coming here Cap! You have helped me a lot the past few years and I do enjoy talking to you and seeing your latest creations. :hugs 🌹
I am really getting down about being so tired all the time. So many years, and I never have any energy. The doctors don't seem to help me much. Latest one says it's probably sleep apnea. So more testing about that.
I know being in the city is not what I really want, but we are getting older and I get tired of all this driving. More specialists in the city, less driving to that too. Daryl is tired of all the mowing and tree cutting.
I have been spending way too much time on the internet looking for a new home, and going to view homes.
Hope you are all doing ok. ....Two months or so to Xmas!

Granny, Google Lens says these are tickseed or beggar-ticks, and sometimes called devil's beggar-ticks. They are designed to stick in the flesh so they can be dispersed. Sure do look like they would hurt, they are barbed.

BTW, I know you would rather see a possum than a mouse, I was trying to get the image of a mouse out of your mind, lol.

@CapricornFarm I sure do hope your doctors get to the bottom of what ails you, and sooner rather than later. You are so gifted and creative and have so much to offer I hate to see it stifled or stulted. Stulted, is that a word? You know what I mean! If living in town helps set you more free then that is a blessing even if it is not optimal for right now. Please take care of you so your beautiful, creative spirit can soar! :hugs and :love

are you going for the chicks tomorrow? How many are you planning on? I think you said but I have forgotten
Yes. Only 8 and hoping for at least 3 pullets. No longer keeping a large flock of any one breed. We have mostly Crested Cream Legbars which we hatched from our first pen of 10 or so hens. Once sold a local 48 eggs to hatch and he hatched out 44 chicks. We have one pen of the Legbars that we hatched that we are mating to 3 males from GGF's to add to the gene pool. Also have two Legbar girls in with the Bielefelder girls being mated to Bielefelder boys just to see what is going to happen there.

I just woke up way to early. Not even 4am yet but I'm up and want to get on the road. Antsy. Have a box of Legbars hatching in a week. Some for us and some for a local. I have a local that takes all the excess that we don't need. I should see about 2-3 more hours of sleep.
