howdy all, Ruff or rough night. Sucker chair got me about 9 pm then up at midnight, locked up and "attempted to go bad to bed." It was an abject failure. So gave up and back upstairs until about 6 am and managed another hour and a half. Got a little of this and a little of that done the past day and a half. For the first time in 40 years I am NOT hosting a meal on Thanksgiving. Tired of dealing with 5 year old's in adult bodies. Got this from more than one person well if "so and so is coming I won't be there" So I will be getting some Christmas baking done instead. To quote my mother "I have had enough"

I get it! We quit doing family gatherings years ago and I won't go into details as to why. We've gone to a very nice restaurant for Thanksgiving for several years. Not this year though. Just going to have a quiet little meal at home. And if my SIL and BIL come over I will tell them sorry, we are not entertaining. She can see from her house that all our vehicles are here so I fully expect her to show up unannounced. Ugh, it gives me anxiety just to think about it.

Had a 'find the Dr'day today. Walmart pharmacy didn't have DH new prescription today and I would rather not take him back to the hospital. So spent the forenoon finding a hospital DR on call who then sent the prescription to CVS. Got one dose so have to go back tomorrow for the rest . Thankful for that one hospital DR I got connected to

I just tried talking to Tom. Nurse gave me her personal # then put it on speaker. I'm not sure if he knew who I was or not. He did say his arms and legs were numb. Did you DH become unable to walk? If I knew how to get him from bed to chair to potty I wonder if I might could take care of him here at home

Lupus is when you are allergic to yourself.
Granny, you are in no condition to care for someone that was in the state Tom was. Don't blame yourself.
