sounds good.I want to get a good Brie for the holiday this year and bake it in a bread bowl of my own baking. I saw them do this on The Kitchen today and it just looked SO good!

I used to do the whole block, but I don’t have the freezer space to cut it into small chunks and freeze.thanks. They have a cheese sale once a year there. So many cheeses! If you buy the square block you can get them pretty cheaply too.
They cut the top off the bread, holliwed it out the diameter of the cheese wheel, put a layer of some kind of jam on the bottom. Then they put the cheese in and cut down the side of the bowl almost to the bottom all the way around, about an inch apart. Put the lid back on and baked it but I don't remember how hot or how long. When it came out they took the lid off and it had melted cheese on the underside of it. Guess you could cut that up. People then pulled the bread bowl apart where it had been cut and ate it with the melty cheese. It looked really good!
I did not know you could freeze it. do you get the same texture when thawed?I used to do the whole block, but I don’t have the freezer space to cut it into small chunks and freeze.
Good night! I'm headed that way too. Sleep well.I hope everyone has a restful night. sweet dreams.
