We're on a well. Was on one in NM, too. Took me a while to get used to the taste of this one, it has more iron. Have filters on it now and a water softener. It's pretty good, just what you get used to I guess. Cannot abide city water, ugh that chlorine! Lol

We have a filter in our fridge. We have a pitcher that fills and also a spout to fill glasses or ..my water bottle.

Yes, the fridge filters the water even further, and of course chills it as well.

The filter on my fridge is $50. each. Its like my alarm clock, I smack that snooze button more times than Carter had liver pills.

I had to buy eggs today. Store eggs. From a store.

Well actually, I didn't, GC did, she had to go to town today so I had her get them for me.

The kids eat eggs. If it was up to them, each of them would eat two eggs every day. My hens are providing us with one, two or -rarely - three eggs a day. Today I told them the math does not add up. DH wants a hard-boiled egg a day for his breakfast. My bread recipe calls for four eggs! And what about cookies? It's the holidays, children! This is simply not sustainable! I hoarded eggs this fall, but alas! They are all gone. So, I had to do the unthinkable. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I will make the sacrifice and use (gulp!) store eggs in my baking. Spring is coming. Eggs will follow...
