Granny's gone and done it again

I have heard church is the best place to go to meet new friends. I know bars don't work. lol There are many that are lonely just waiting for someone to step up and say hello. Tom being gone makes this house feel so strange but Robert is acting much kinder to me . Not that we don't have our days, we do but not as many or as strong. I am lucky to still have him home
I know that pain all too well
It's good you're not alone
Love y'all 💞

I know you do. I remember the picture you sent me via PM. It was the stuff horror movies were made from. You stood up til the bitter end and how you did it was amazing. I know how strong of a person you are as I know you got this. :hugs

Is everyone having a good day?
We did have a good day with visits from 2 granddaughters and their families. I know how you feel about the holiday being hard. My Mom died on Dec. 18 the funeral was on the 21st. It is still a sad time for me.

Hope you all had a Safe and Peaceful Christmas.
Granny - Hubby is 70 and I am 69 - we married reasonably young and did not have kids till 10and 15yrs later. So they are only in their 30s
Mum is almost 94 and slowing down considerably this last 18months - -part of why the siblings are mostly in town this year - baby sis will get here for the New Year. Then that is the 4 of us that are still around. I am a little worried that my sibs - none of whom live in town or see mum more than 10 times in a busy year - do not realise that though they are being helpful doing the bigger jobs she and I are past doing(I am the oldest), they are still tiring her out. :he
