Granny's gone and done it again

If you Google it, there is a 5 year look back period of you sign up for long term health care from Medicaid. It's good for everyone to know that
I don't know what this means?

Just have something light, like soup.
Nothing tastes good to me. I've lost 8 lbs and could stand on losing 100
Normal is subjective. Normal compared to what? Nobody is 100% normal. We all have our medical flaws that have us taking medicine that none of us want to take. Nobody is 100% emotionally or mentally. We were told in nurses training that every one on earth has at least 3 neurosis. People just learn to deal with them and live their lives in spite of them.

There was only one 100% healthy and perfect person who ever walked on this earth and his name was Jesus The rest of us have to do the best we can to muddle through....:hugs
I was going to ask, What is the definition of normal? Compared to who?

Stayed home from church again today. Finally feeling the effects of that Covid shot: headache, body aches, general lethergy, no appetite. Stayed home and slept most of the day. Arm still tender, but feel better.

They want to make sure you didn't gift money or sell property under fair value. The last five years. The assisted living place I worked at did that to. They will penalize you if you do that
My mother always had to answer questions like that while on state help.
SSI did at first for Richard. He doesn't now. His birth defects is pretty well known.

Clipped the wings of some birds this evening. Merida, the SS, is the ringleader, always jumps the fence in the morning before I'm ready to let them out, and has taught about three of the Aussies to join her. So we clipped her and all the Aussies. Also had a lavender EE with a crusty bum, too cold to bathe her but she got a fluffy bum trim, hopefully that will help. Downy feathers everywhere, it was like a snowstorm, lol! Here is Shadow with about 7 of his groupies beside and under him. There are at least 2 in the poop tray under him. Poor Walker sits elsewhere all by his lonesome. Understand that these ladies of Shadow's have plenty of room to roost anywhere they want to! That's Shadow on top, looking down at his harem.

I'm getting sleepy, not gonna last much longer

Granny, please try to eat and drink. If you are dealing with a UTI you sure don't want wind up septic from it, Chicken noodle soup and tea if nothing else. The soup will help your sodium levels also.

@CapricornFarm did you ever get in to see your doc?

That fries my bacon about the 5 year look back. People who need it play merry heck jumping through hoops to get it while others just walk in the door who are able to work and choose not to get everything handed to them. I went through that with my dad when he went into the nursing home. First thing out of their mouths was 'does he have a life insurance policy'? That is the first thing they sink their claws into.

Going to bed guys. Everyone feel better.
