Granny's gone and done it again

You've NEVER had rebound pain? Wow, I bet you have and just didn't know the word for it. And I am a terrible one to explain.
I don't recall having any pain after the shots. At all.

The way my doctor explained rebound pain to me was when I had my shoulder injected, he told me to expect 24-48 hours where the shoulder pain would be worse and then gradually lessen. Sure enough, the next morning I could have chewed off my own arm. It hurt about 50% more than it had. He told me to just take it easy, use a sling so I wouldn't overuse it. I did and yeah, by the end of the next day the pain was starting to ease off and 24 hours later the shot had kicked in.

Question about the Corid. I mixed up two 2-gallon buckets for our birds this morning. Do we need to pitch all that they didn't drink and make new batches in the morning?
yes, new every 24 hrs. Hopefully you have an idea as to how much they go through.. That way you don't make too much and don't forget a lil sugar.
Also, should we direct dose ALL of them tonight, or just the two with dirty bums?
They all need to be treated to make sure they don't pass it back and forth to each other.
At least that's how I remember it.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. So far, feeling nothing. She said it would take 2 or 3 days to kick in and start helping with the pain. It might be of note to point out that my pain levels are 3 to 5, not 8 to "off the charts," so I may not be getting as much medication as you and Granny did. She said nothing about rebound pain so, we'll see.

We medicated the water for all the chickens today and will continue to do so all this week, or until Friday anyway. Will direct dose the poopy ones tomorrow night. Long trip to Cape and back, too tired to do tonight.

Yup, we're on it. Looking for shallower buckets. Bit of a waste with these 2-gallon buckets. DH wanted to know if we could fill them only half full and I said no, they can't reach very well if the buckets aren't full. They drink from the TOP of the bucket, not the bottom, lol.

Oh absolutely, I'm aware. And I did sweeten it a bit for them, thank you everybody for pointing that out. I think it was you and Cap that said that.

I'd do the ones with the dirty bums definitely then treat everyone.

Sorry, got tied up with Pi and dishes...at the same time.
Totally understand! Thanks
