Yes! It's exciting! I've never had trouble with a broody keeping her babies in the flock. I love it.

when I went in there the whole flock had her surrounded and had egg shell they were fighting over. I never let them stay with the mom. I have found dead ones in there a couple times so I just pull them. I am out of room.

I sold my chickens at Indiana prices today. $3 each for the young EEs, $5 for the big EE rooster, and $1 each to hatch out 10 more chicks.
