That's quite the concentration of sad days.

I remember my mom's b-day but not her death date. Early October sometime, because the boys have birthday's in Sept, and I was praying she wouldn't die until after.

Good for Robert to get out and see stuff like that. Will you loan him the camera?

ugg, probably too late to talk to him about it. He is in bed for an early start. I might not even see him. I did think of it 5 min. ago. hahaaa He is good with stuff like that.

Wishing, I remember so much about her illness. her laying on the floor crying. Me doing everything I could to get her to eat. when it got to where it didnt matter what she ate and could have that piece of cake she lost her appetite. The day I started hating my sister.

I swam with sharks at an aquarium in Sam Diego. I was 13 and went with my girlfriend to visit family friends of theirs. I didn't know we were going to do it. Had to put on wet suits and snorkels. The water was cold. There were 2 sharks swimming next to me and one below. They looked well fed! This same friend now is addicted to scuba diving. She and her husband take diving vacations- anywhere where the the water is warm!

I've also swam with sharks in the wild, but they were way down below and I was floating on the surface... like a big target! That was at Molokini . You should google that too. Neato.
And then there was the barracuda! That really got my heart going!

They were all reef sharks, very docile, but still curious enough to check us out and they were big. Same with the wild ones, but they didn't approach. Whole boatload of snorkelers was probably more than they wanted to deal with. Now if I saw a tiger shark out there, it would probably be my last time in the water. They eat people.

mom died of liver failure . never drank in her life but once I know of. fatty liver. it started with bleeding varices and blood transfusions . she would feel good for a few months then it would start again. Her sugar was uncontrollable. that went on for a few years and she just got tired. The drs, hospitals, They wouldnt do a liver transplant . I offered they said she was not a good candidate what ever that means. we were at the drs. and she said she needed to be admitted and mom just told the dr. she was tired, done. So she sent mom home with hospice. I got about 2-3 months out of her before she lost her mind. IThen she was bed bound and I was to give her the morphine under the tongue and the med. that stops the death rattle. I changed her, bathed her, stayed by her side til her last breath. The girls came for a weekend to see her while she was still half coherent . they didnt come back for the funeral . My siser insisted on sleeping in the room with mom. Mom didnt want her. She was trying to get out of the bed to find "her bed" me, and she shoved her into the bed.

I dont understand the question about my sister.
